The reason Foundation Church exists is to glorify God. We believe that God is most glorified in us as we learn to trust and be satisfied in Him alone. We seek to glorify God by putting our trust in Him, following in His ways, and gathering together as many new worshipers of him as possible. We want to treasure Him in corporate and in private worship, know Him better by learning the Bible and communicating with Him in prayer. We also want to extend His love to others in the greater community through fellowship, support, discipleship and service. Here is an important announcement from Pastor Ryan: To the people of Foundation Church, Friends, I am communicating with you today to inform you that I will be transitioning out of my role as Lead Pastor of Foundation Church. For over a year, I have sensed a call from God that he is moving me towards another season of life and ministry. Over the last few months, Natasha and I have sought the Lord through prayer, wise counsel, and Scripture to see what he might have next for us. We now know he is leading me to Albuquerque, New Mexico to assume the role of Lead Pastor at North Church Albuquerque. We feel there is a work to be done there which uniquely fits many of my gifts, and that he will continue to use me to help advance the work of the gospel in New Mexico, as he has done in Everett. Foundation Church, it has been a gift from God to be your pastor. I have learned so much in the last six-and-a-half years. As I’m sure you can recall, for much of the time those years were incredibly difficult. There was often the opportunity to abandon my role in the midst of the storms we endured, but the Lord remained faithful, and I truly believe has brought you, as a church, to a place of stability and health which will see you through the next season. You have faithful, godly, and grace-filled pastors who I trust will continue to care for you in the same way they have already done. I know this might be shocking, difficult, and challenging news, but I encourage you to see that God is moving our family to New Mexico to continue the Kingdom work of proclaiming and living out the Gospel (Acts 20:17-38). We are not leaving because we do not love you, but because we seek to follow the call of God on our lives, and for his glory we must be obedient. This is not a move for comfort or convenience; we’ll be leaving behind family, friends, our home, and familiarity with the culture, but the call to proclaim the gospel never comes without a cost. There will be trials and challenges for sure, but because of the gift of knowing Jesus and making him known, we are willing to endure this and much more. My final Sunday at Foundation Church will be May 26th and we will be moving to Albuquerque in June. I have been working with the elder team to find a suitable fit for my role, and they are committed to communicating with you about that process in the near future. Please pray for my family, as there is much to do in the coming weeks. I desire to leave Foundation Church in the same way I have tried to serve her, faithfully. Calling all Ladies! A women's ministry update, and info meeting will be held April 7th immediately after service upstairs in the 2nd-5th grade classroom. Courtney Lockin, midweek study coordinator, will share the vision and give an update on two new things she is planning this spring and summer. Amy Gagner, events coordinator will be talking about our upcoming Spring Tea and have a sign up to be involved in planning for the event! We would love to see you all there after the service. The meeting will last about 20 minutes.

Easter weekend should cause us to look to the lowest of the lows and the highest of the highs. We peer into the depth of sin, the darkness of evil, the vacuum of death. Then in miraculous hope, we stagger backwards at the sheer beauty of our risen saviour, behold his glory and feel the cleansing of his forgiveness as the light of Christ cleanses us from our darkness. Join Foundation Church for a study in contrast over this coming weekend. Good Friday - 6:30pm (Childcare Available) Easter Sunday - 10am (Family Style)
Foundation Church will begin a study of the book of Isaiah in 2018. Join us for what promises to be a powerful and challenging series.
Beginning tomorrow and running until December 22nd Foundation Church will be filled every day except Sunday with needy families receiving toys for Christmas through the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. We will have our ministry partners from the Gideon’s distributing the word of God. We will pray and care for those who desire it. We will have volunteers greeting those who come through our doors, making coffee and hot chocolate for them to drink, handing out candy canes, and picking donations for those who need it. This year we expect approximately 4,000 families to come through our doors. So, we are asking you to pray that the love of God and the good news of Jesus Christ might be shared in word and deed through us as we seek to serve our community in Jesus name.
